About our client

SpiderDoor is a company with 4k customers Canada and US that provides clients with the latest in cellular and wireless gate access. Their products integrate with all major management software and our apps help your tenants manage their self-storage experience. They are looking for an experienced Software Engineer/Ruby on Rails Developer.

‍Requirements

Must Haves:

• Ability to communicate in English (minimum level B2)
• 5+ years in software development
• 3+ years of Ruby on Rails
• AGILE

Nice to haves:

• 2+ years MongoDB
• Front-end framework such as Bootstrap
• SQL databases, PostgreSQL
• API development 

You will:

• Web development their products and services.
• Support and apply some optimizations in their products.
• Set up a staging environment.
• Migration from Postgres to MongoDB.
• Work with a distributed team to define and implement best practices and standards.
• Have a great time and develop your professional skills working with a fast-paced startup!

Compensation, Contract, Terms

• USD 33 per hour, paid monthly.
• Contract: freelance (prestación de servicios) with our company in US.
• Full time.
• Start: ASAP
