Senior Web Developer: Wordpress + Shopify

NetMidas is a software development company based in Cali since 2007. We have produced websites and web applications for a broad range of clients, including large multinationals (including Apple), startups and international NGOs, as well as our own products. Now we are looking for an ambitious Web developer to work directly with an exciting US client.

‍About our client

The client is a creative, motivated team of marketing professionals with a rapidly growing portfolio of clients. Founded in early 2021 and has quickly grown and now has 75+ accounts in a wide range of industries and verticals. They are looking for a Full-Time Web Developer with experience in WordPress, Shopify, Landing Pages, Tracking, APIs, and A/B testing who is interested in working closely with experts in a start-up environment.

Requirements

Must Haves:

• Ability to communicate in English (minimum level B2)
• 4+ years of Web Development
• 3+ years of WordPress development including: (Divi, Elementor, Bootstrap Guttenburg, WP Bakery, Beaver Builder, WooCommerce)
• 3+ years of Shopify development including: (Liquid, JS, Apps, Custom Coding, Design Implementation, Responsive design)
• API Development
• Languages: JQuery, HTML, CSS, LAMP
• Hosting: SSH, sFTP, WHM, cPanel, Plesk, SSL, DNS.
• Slack and Zoom for Team Communication

Nice to haves:

• Knowledge in Website Security

• Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and Data Studio (Looker) (Tracking and Reporting)
• Google Cloud, API, Maps
• Tracking Pixels for Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, etc.
• Multi-Channel Attribution
• Zapier for cross-platform integrations
• Mailchimp, Klayvio, Constant Contact (Technical Email Platforms)

You will:

• Develop digital products and support our services across Web Design, SEO, PPC Advertising, Facebook Advertising, LinkedIn Advertising, Email Marketing, and marketing consulting.
• Support and apply optimizations for our clients who are interested in a solutions-oriented, data-driven, no-nonsense approach to marketing services.
• Set up staging and production environments.
• Work with a team passionate about web development, problem-solving.
• Have a great time and develop your professional skills working with a rapidly-scaling young company.

Compensation, Contract, Terms

• USD 25-28 per hour, paid monthly. Dependent on experience, with ample opportunity to grow.
• Contract: freelance (prestación de servicios) with our company in US.
• Full time.
